Introducing “The Studio IX Mother Project”
In response to the needs of our community, especially in the times of COVID, we launched a new grant designed to help working moms stay in the game.
Through this initiative, Studio IX will provide financial support to mothers to help cover the cost of childcare while they are on set, need to spend time producing or editing, attend festivals or other networking events, or do anything else that will help them finish their film.

A year of complimentary Creative Cloud All Apps subscriptions for all grant recipients, provided in partnership with Adobe
We’re seeking to help filmmakers most in need of assistance right now. The grant will be open to those who:
identify as a woman (regardless of gender assigned at birth,) transgender or nonbinary
are currently working on a documentary film (short, feature, series, etc.) and able to demonstrate commitment to their work and film in progress.
US based
are parents/caregivers to a child (or children) under the age of 13. Adoptive and foster parents included.
demonstrate a financial need due to or exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic
